Headbutt heard round the world

One British announcer commented during the awards ceremony that in the French locker room sat the loneliest man in the world...

Sad. But I have lost no respect for Zidane. A few minutes earlier he headed a ball that if found in the back of the net would have been the "header heard round the world." And Zidane would have gone into the history books as a soccer god.

This event only shows how one's Destiny can change in seconds.

I, too, have very little sympathy for Zidane. After all those years of being the hero, he leaves the sport as nothing more than a joke, as evidenced here.

Ummm. I said, "I have lost NO respect." See what I mean about Destiny? One mishap by a neuro-transmitter in the brain, one slip of the tongue and now I know you're a Muslim hating terrorist . . .

Ahhh... I, on the other hand, have found no respect nor lost no respect, nor have I misplaced it. I believe my respect is right where I left it, on the table next to my keys.

Looks like football/soccer now has it's own Barry Bonds, of sorts.

I wonder what the Italian said to him to provoke such a hit? Someone said the Italian had said something about Zidane's mother and grandmother.....?
The C.

Any comments against a mother deserves a headbutt...
