Twenty years

Next month marks twenty years since graduating high school. There are no plans for a reunion. That's right; that makes me thirty-eight.

When my Dad was thirty-eight, I was sixteen. Sorry, Dad.

The Canadian band, Tragically Hip, recently released a song titled, "Thirty Eight Years Old," though I neither know what it sounds like nor if the lyrics are fitting for this blogged occasion. But I do know this: It's not every year one can say, "There's a song out there with a title the same as my age." Pretty cool, eh?

I always get a little misty when I hear, "That was then, This is now"
