Africa

While I'm waiting for my timeline to render, I thought I'd mention that I got a phone call earlier today that a team of doctors from the Mayo Clinic saw my work and are hoping to hire me (freelance - for my own company) to go with them to Africa for a week in September. They teach on the latest techniques and want to document the training. I'm not sure, but it may be a little more exciting than shooting a dental training video.

OK, the description of the dental shoot kind of gave me the willies. Do you feel detached when you're shooting stuff like that? Hope the Africa thing works out. I've always wanted to go there!

Need a grip/McGyver? I made a pinhole camera, once, out of a box, some tape, and some tinfoil.

Now that does sound fun.

I'm glad I reread Elizabeth's comment - I nearly spat my tea over my computer when I thought she'd written Where is Africa

Lori: Shooting the drilling all day long can get a bit wearing... doesn't bother me much though.

elbog: Let me know when your pinhole camera is available and I'll rent it from you...

Elsie: Your neck of the woods... Accra, then up north somewhere.

Kim: Isn't Africa next to the Iraq? (You won't get that unless you caught the Miss Teen USA South Carolina answer...)

Yes, that sounds mildly more exciting than being in the dentist office for any reason. Congratulations. And give Miss Teen SC a break, she is very passionate and concerned about the lack of access we have to maps.
