Kim, fellow blogger from Scotland and writer on all things philosophical, and the occasional Down syndrome thought, has just started a blog called The Storyteller's Blog. The Flower story was written in one of those moments of frustration when you feel it doesn't matter what you say or do, someone you love is determined to beat themselves up and remain on a path of self loathing. Although I have no idea how it's interpreted by anyone else.
In addition to the voice, you've got a knack for the written word. Hope you keep at it; you'll need new tires for that bike of yours eventually.
