No tomorrow

It's as if clients believe that there will be no year 2008. I understand all about calendar year and quarterly statements, but people - please! Give an overwrought editor a break.

More later... unless the world really does come to an end on December 31st.

You should re-adopt ther Julian Calendar as it will give you and extra 13 days to catch up with everything

I think there's some sort of unconscious denial wired into our brains. I remember, in my 20's, thinking about the turn of the century, realizing I'd be 41, and thinking that that somehow was never going to happen. I'm still trying to recover from Y2K. My son just turned 11; when I blink again he'll be bringing the car back with no gas in it. Here's a tip - time accelerates in the aging mind.
