Aye...and while we're at it and have all of this God-like power, can we also get rid of those unbearably hot days in the summer when your hair bursts into flames? I know God really isn't into lukewarm, but I am.
Shoot no! These are the months we live in Florida for!
I often say that living here is an anti-depressant for me. I don't know if there would be drugs enough to make me feel okay in the cold, dark northern winters.
Why stop at March? Remember, Tom, your in Minnesota....better throw April and May in there too. I enjoy the seasons and I wish we had more of them here in CA, but I know MN does have more than it's fair share! Hang in there:)
Oh,I'm so there! Except that this year we want February, because we have Angela's Make A Wish trip coming up. LOL Still plenty of winter left when we come back though. Lucky us.
Terri: And maybe we can do something about all those mosquitoes...
Falling down: Glad to know that the winter blues are not exclusively an American sentiment. :)
Eclexia: When I used to live in W. Palm Beach it was such a thrill to pull out sweatshirts when it got DOWN to 50 degrees at night... Alright, you're excluded. :)
Meredith: I'm very excited for your upcoming journey and hope it goes smoothly.
Amber: I just need to spend the winters out there with you all... you know all too well how cold it gets here in January. I remember Seth saying, "People die when it gets this cold." Some just die on the inside. :)
Brett: That Seattle rain getting to you yet? It was murder on me... and my credit rating.
Kim: I didn't quite catch that; could you say it again? :) Made me laugh out loud, which is sometimes hard to do this time of year.
Leah: Nice to have something to look forward to; hope it's somewhere sunny.
Carole: Why don't you write down all that I miss in these next three months and send it to me in March? :)
You lived in West Palm Beach? And you live in Minnesota now? I'm very interested in the stories behind demographics. There's got to be an interesting one behind that move! I mean, I know the hurricanes can get to you after a while, but at least they're hit and miss...Some times you get them sometimes you don't. But, the winter in Minnesota, well, that is so consistently there, year after year, month after month, day after day. If I were in your shoes, I'd certainly vote for skipping a few months!
And yes, I understand the sweatshirt thing. I do love wearing my leather coat once in a while. And drinking hot chocolate twice a year.
sorry, i have a lot to do (that i want to do - i guess that's the key here) and i would be so behind if we did that. not to mention miss 3 birthdays and my anniversary.
Eclexia: Left WPB right out of high school.. wanted to "see the world" kind of thing. I miss it every January. (Moved up here because my wife lived up here)

Aye, aye and thrice aye. And to compound our misery, we get an extra day in Feb!

I admire those of you who manage year after year.
Okay, since I voted no, I'd better go away now!
I have to agree that those are the most beautiful months in FL, but since I'll be in Ukraine I'll skip 'em all if I can bring my babies home anyway!!

I am for skipping all those months with a vowel in them. More covers please..

I don't say aye, but I must say that I laughed until I cried when I read Kim's comment. He does have a clever twist of phrase.
I'm afraid you will miss something really good if those three months disappear. Okay, I'm leaving.

Sorry I missed this earlier! Why did I miss it? I guess because I've been hiding out, hating January.
Eclexia: Left WPB right out of high school.. wanted to "see the world" kind of thing. I miss it every January. (Moved up here because my wife lived up here)
Elsie: Good reasons. You get a pass. :)
Anne: Glad to know I'm not the only one. :)
