What's worse than bankruptcy?

I think it may have been Jim Smith's decision to retire in this town and get a part-time job addressing envelopes at this business. (Sorry, I inherited my dad's sense of humor. Thanks, dad.)

I'm out on a video shoot until Tuesday; exciting trip to the middle east. (It all depends on your point-of-reference.) See you next week.

Boy, I missed out on your blog for awhile. You've had a busy transistion into the new year. Have a good trip to corn country.

I'll miss you Tom, and you really had me there with that middle east reference. I'm glad I bothered to click on the link. I was imagining you with Christiane Amanpour in Yemen or something. (You were on an assignment for CNN and it was very earth-shaking and important yet funny and human...just like you.) Iowa is nice too. I'm mostly sad that you aren't warmer...some middle eastern heat would be nice right about now.

I used to live in Wales and can actually pronounce that place name. When I make it over to the States, or you make it over to Scotland, I'll teach you.

Sunflower: Yes, it's been a bit busy... not in a good way, I suppose. Thanks.

Terri: What, you don't think Christiane Amanpour in Iowa would make compelling television? :)
